| I was on the deck force out of Boot Camp. Then to Commisssary Dept. 1964 1965 Cruse Book WEST PAC. General Quarters. I was a Pointer on the 5 in Foward McDonald was the Trainer. On ASW I was the Helmsman on the Bridge. I read all these things on the Taylor, but never see anthing on the Rushin Sub Tender BOCMODE?? that we held the Sub's every time they left we chased. The Sub Tender set a crash course toward us and we held our position and puled away at the last minuet. The BOCMUDE?? Tried to reverce engines dropped the load Smoke comming out at holes. Any one else remmber this. Stewburner ED

| This is to inform you that my Dad who served on the USS Taylor during WWII passed away on July 28th 2011; he was 86 & made it to his 60th wedding anniversary.
